Hi there!
[tex] \tan(x) = \frac{opposite \: side}{adjecent \: side} [/tex]
[tex] \tan(x) = \frac{8}{6} [/tex]
[tex] \tan(x) = 1 \frac{1}{3} [/tex]
[tex]x = 53.1[/tex]
Therefore tan x° = 1 1/3 and x = 53.1°
