When do you need to multiply mixed numbers in the real world? Please help I have no idea!

You will need to do that when you are purchasing a particular item in large quantity. For example, at the supermarket, a hotdog cost $1.20 and that can be in the form of 1 1/5 and when you buy it in large quantity say 20 pieces of hotdogs then you will need to do the multiplication.
