Johannes Brahms was an hugely important and celebrated figure and often put together with both Beethoven and Bach in the group Hans von Bülow coined the "Three Bs". As such he was buried next to Beethoven when he died. His monument was done by the sculptor Ilse von Twardowski-Conrat and designed by Victor Horta.
