Acceleration = (Change in velocity) / (Time taken)
So,
Acceleration = [tex] \frac{14 - 0}{3.5} [/tex]

Acceleration = [tex] \frac{14}{3.5} [/tex]

Acceleration = 4 m/s²

So, acceleration of the car is 4 m/s²
