A whole number is a number that does not have a decimal point- e.g. 0, 1 2, 3 etc.

When rounding a number, if the number after the one that is being rounded is greater than 4, the number is rounded up.  If not, it remains the same:
6 is greater than 4.  Therefore, 0 is rounded up to 1.

0.64 rounded to the nearest whole number is 1
