f(x)=3x-1

y-intercept:
y=3(0)-1
y=-1

x-intercept:
0=3x-1
1=3x
1/3=x

g(x)=2f(x)-4

y-intercept:
y=2f(0)-4
y=2(-1)-4
y=-6

x-intercept:
0=2f(x)-4
0=2(3x-1)-4
0=6x-2-4
0=6x-6
0=x-1
1=x

Hope I helped :)
