If DC= 6x and DA= 4x+18, find the value of x. Then find AD and DC

We can solve this for x, if DC = AD
DC= AD
putting the values of both
6x = 4x + 18
6x - 4x = 18
2x  = 18
x = 9
so, the value of x is 9. by using the value of x, we can find AD and DC
AD = 4(9) + 18
= 36 + 18
54
and DC = 6 (9) = 54
