1st Remember: If x' and x" are the roots of ax² + b.x + c, then:

ax² + bx + c = a(x-x')(x-x")

Now find the root of 4x² + 13x + 3, solving for x by using :

x' = [-b+-√(b²-4ac)] / 2a and you will find x' = -1/4 and x" = -3
(x+1/4)(x+3) = (x+3)( ??) and te missing factor is (x+1/4)
