56.70 because 35%of $42 is 14.70 and if you add those two together you get 56.70

Hi

I believe the regular price of the shoes was $120.
35/100 ÷ 5 = 7/20 (reduce)
7/20 × ? = 42/?
42 ÷ 7 = 6
7/20 × 6 = 42/120
so 120 was the regular price. :)
