1st law: if the puck is in motion, its stays in motion. if its at rest, its stays at rest. Only applied until an external force such as a hockey stick is applied.


2nd law: the force required to move the puck is the same as its mass times its acceleration.


3rd law: the force that the puck exerts on the ice is equal and opposite to the force that the ice exerts on the puck
