To stop the movement of Earth's tiny the inner core of the planet would have to lose loads of heat so it turns solid, then it would stop moving but if this happens we would lose lots of magnetic shield generated by the liquid metal near the core of the planet which protects from radiation the sun gives us.

Hope that helps!
