A lot of the russians did not like Stalin. He was a killer of the russians

the Russians view Stalin as a great man because he had help them become very independent with his five year plan but these plan asked too much of the Russian people and many died because of his crudity
 in summery they see what he did for them as a great deed to the country but they are proud to have been under a forward moving leader
