The value of x from the given linear function is 15

Solving linear function

A linear function is a function hat has a leading degree of 1

Given the equation below;

2/5x +9 =15

Subtract 9 from both sides

2/5x + 9 - 9 = 15 - 9

2/5x = 15 -  9

2/5x = 6

Multiply both sides by 5

2/5x (5) = 6(5)

2x = 30

x = 15

Hence the value of x from the given linear function is 15
