A thesis statement is an arguable sentence commonly given at the end of your introductory paragraph. It essentially gives the reader an idea of what you will be telling them about in your paper. :)
Let's say you have three points you want to cover in your paper. Your thesis statement is the perfect time to sum up those three points and explain it.
