Find the slope of line passing through the points (4,8) and (6, -2).

The slope formula is m= ( Y2-Y1)/ (X2­-X1) 

X1 =4
X2=6
Y1=8
Y2=(-2)

((-2)-8)/(6-4)= (-10)/(2)=-5
