Hi!  :)  

5(x−2)<−3x+6 
Distribute the 5  you get: 
5x-10 < -3x+6

add 10 to both sides (to get x along) , now you have:
5x < -3x +16  
add 3x to both sides (combining like terms) 

8x < 16

Divide both sides by 8 (to get the x alone) 

x <2 (final answer: A)
