Find a equation of a line that is parallel to y=5x-21 and passes through the point (3,7).

So to approach this problem, since we are given the slope of the first line we already know since the second line is going to parallel we will use same slope. Now use point slope form. Y-7=5(x-3). Distribute y-7=5x-15. Add 7 to both sides, -15+7=-8. Y=5x-8 that’s the equation that goes through 3,7.
