we need to find out the acceleration of the car

So,

Here

u =  initial velocity =40km/h

v = final velocity =60km/h

t = time = 5s =5 ÷ 3600h

a = acceleration

Now as we know that

a = (v - u) ÷ t

= (60 - 40) ÷ (5 ÷ 3600)

= (20 × 3600) ÷ 5

= 14400km/h
