At a bird sanctuary, the population of bluebirds is 120 and is increasing 4% annually. How many bluebirds will there be in 8 years?

The answer is: 158 birds

4% of 120 is 4.8 birds. So the population is increasing by 4.8 each year. 4.8 x 8 years = 38.4

120 + 38.4 = 158.4
