Combining like terms is key in this expression.

4p - 2/4 • 2p + 5/2 • 2/3

Change denominators to be the same.

(2/4)(3) = 6/12
(5/2)(6) = 30/12
(2/3)(4) = 8/12

Now combine these three fractions.

-6/12 + 30/12 • 8/12

24/12 • 8/12

Reduce these two for easier work.

2/1 • 2/3 = 4/3

Combine the terms with p variables.

4p • 2p = 8p^2

Final answer is;

8p^2 + 4/3
