Hey there!

If d = 3 then substitute where “d” is at, now let’s work out the equation!

5(9 + 3) – 6

• DISTRIBUTE:

5(9) + 5(3)

5(9) = 45

5(3) = 15

• NEW EQUATION:

45 + 15 – 6

45 + 15 = 60

60 – 6 = 54

Answer: 54 ☑️

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
