For y 2x+3y=12 Subtract 2x 3y=-2x+12 Divide both sides by 3 y=-2/3x+4 (or 12/3)
For x
2x+3y=12 subtract 3y 2x=-3y+12 divide both sides by 2 x=-3/2y+6 (or 12/2)
