Mrs. newton bought 86 golden apples. she now has 6 less than her brother joseph but 13 more than her friends elisa. how many apples have they together.

So she has 6 less than her brother Joseph so to find out how many apples he has, you have to add 6 to 86 so, 86+6=92. So, Mrs. Newton has 86 apples, Joseph has 92 and now we have to find out how much Elisa has. Her friend elisa has 13 less than her so to find out how many she has you have to subtract 13 from 86. So, 86-13=73. To find out how many they have together, you have to add all three totals. So, 86+92+73=251. They had 251 apples all together
