(-3 1/8) / (- 1 2/3)....turn them to improper fractions
(- 25/8) / (- 5/3) ..when dividing fractions, " flip " what u r dividing by, then      multiply
-25/8 * - 3/5 =
-75/-40 which reduces to 15/8 or 1 7/8
