Answer:

The Albany Plan of Union was essentially just to unite all the colonies together. I was meant to create unity, not separation among the colonies. The response from the colonies was a no. The Albany plan of Union failed because the colonies were afraid of losing their own autonomy or self government. The British also dropped the plan because they wanted to make the management of the colonies simple.
