Think about it....is 6.37 closer to 6 or 7 ? It is closer to 6. 

6 is ur whole number...now look at the number next to it....if that number is 5 or more, then u would round 6 to 7...but if that number is 4 or less, then the 6 stays the same.
The number can be rounded off to the nearest whole number by checking the number whether it is close to 6 or 7. As, the number is close to 6, it is the answer.
