If the chord is 24cm long and  theres still 5cm till the center of the circle. We need to add that up so. 24+5=29.

Now we know that the radius is 29cm

The area of a circle is pi times the radius squared (A = π r²)

pluging the radius into the equasion we get

[tex]3.14 * 29^{2}[/tex]= 1809.6
