v1 = 0 m/s

vt = 10 m/s

t = 4 s

Asked :

a = ...?

Answer :

a = (vt - v1)/t

= (10 - 0)/4

= 10/4

= 5/2

= 2 ½ m/s²

= 2.5 m/s²
