Molar mass MgS₂O₃ = 24 + 32 x 2 + 16 x 3 = 136 g/mol

1 mole ---------------- 136 g
? mole --------------- 167 g

moles = 167 x 1 / 136

moles = 167 / 136

= 1.227 moles of MgS₂O₃

hope this helps!
