The density of steel is 7.8 grams per cubic centimeter. What is the volume of a piece of a sheet of steel that has a mass of 3.75 kilograms?

Density is the measure of the weight of the object at a certain volume or the volume of an object with a certain weight. To solve for density we are to divide the weight by the volume. 
Now, we are asked for the volume given density and mass. The answer is 480cm^3. Note: Make sure the units are consistent.
