2x=4 and 3x=6
So, think of a number that you can substitute for x in this equation that when you multiply it to 2 and 3, will arrive with the answer which is 4, and 6 respectively.
In this case, the correct number will be 2.
Wherein:
2(2)=4
3(2)=6
