The answer is (1,-10)

You solve this by equating the two equations:
-x2 -5x -4 = -x2 +9x -18
-14x = -14
x =1

You then substitute 1 to either of the equations to find y:
y = -(1)2 -5(1) -4
y = -10

Therefore, the solution is (1,-10)
