The Bill of Rights in the US makes available explicit freedoms such as speech, religion, trial by jury, etc., in order to its main purpose of reinforcing securities of individual rights and limits the federal and state government. On the other hand, the Common Law is a system of law with its roots on judges’ decisions instead of written laws.
