If your brakes suddenly give out what should you do?

If your brakes go out, you will do the the following things:
1) Downshift to a lower gear.
2) If regular brakes are available, pump the brake pedal fast and hard to build up brake fluid pressure.
3) A
fter three or four pumps, if the brakes haven’t started working yet, do the third step: use the parking brake.
Slowly apply the parking brake and be prepared for the car to skid.
