How to round to the nearest hundreth

Look at the thousandths place digit.

If the number is less than or equal to 4...

Keep the digit in the hundredths place and delete the thousandths place digit.

Ex : 12.493 --> 12.49

If the number if greater than or equal to 5...

Round the number up to the next nearest natural number in the hundredths place.

Ex : 12.588 --> 12.59
