To solve this problem, you should first put in it slope intercept form.

Here are the steps:

3y + 6 = -2x   Add 6 to both sides
3y = -2x - 6    Divide both sides by 3
y = (-2/3)x - 2

The you can see that the slope is (-2/3) and the y-intercept is (0, -2).
