Hey there!
We want to isolate x- that's our goal.
First, we must see what is being done to x and do the inverse to "unwrap" the equation.
In our equation, x is being multiplied by y. Therefore, in order to isolate x we must divide both sides by y. We get:

z = xy

Divide both sides by y:

x/y = x

Therefore, your answer is C.

Hope this helps!
