Identify the slope of the line that is perpendicular to the graph of 3x – 6y = 12.

SO first you want to change it to Y=mX+b by getting the y by itself. Subtract 3x over and have -6y=-3x=12 divide both sides by -6 and have y=1/2x-2. To get the perpendicular slope you flip it 1/2 to 2 then change its sign 2 to -2                
The new slope is -2
