The area of a rectangle is given by (l = length, w = width):
[tex]A = l*w[/tex]

So, in this case, we just have to plug in the numbers. 
[tex] A = 2.1m*0.8m = 1.68m^2[/tex]

So, the area of the rectangle is 1.68 m².
