 a distillation apparatus is, by far, the most useful tool in the toolbox. It’s most basic use allows you to separate chemicals based on their boiling points. That alone is cool. It also allows you to manufacture chemicals by forcing reactions that wouldn’t otherwise occur and reflux reactions that would otherwise take gallons of reactants.
