I would highly recommend that a researcher use the most powerful microscope available to thoroughly and aptly research planarians and to study their intricate reproductive system as well as their patterns (if any). There are a lot of unknowns when it comes to this organism. A powerful microscope would allow researchers to explore and to analyze to the point where the unknown is known.
