When x = -1,
  y = 12⁻¹ = 1/12 = 0.0833
When x= 0,
  y = 12⁰ = 1 = 0.0833*12
When x = 1
  y = 12¹ = 12 = 1*12
When x = 2,
  y = 12² = 144 = 12*12
When x = 3,
  y = 12³ = 1728 = 144*12

The rule is to multiply the previous value of y by 12 as x increases by 1.
