The caucasian settlers mainly came to america for religious freedom,but of course along the way they had a little scuffle with the British and Native Americans. Soon after those wars they eventually wanted to actually have freedom so many towns started popping out of nowhere but eventually those towns died down A LOT and some even completely abandoned
