Given the equation, y = 1/3 x - 4, what is the slope and the y-intercept?

We would base this on the formula y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

So in this equation, the slope would be 1/3 because that is the coefficient in front of the x

And the y-intercept would be -4 because that is the number that stand on its own
