The role the dermal papillae play in the dermis is by strengthening it

through the presence of some tissues.

What is Dermis?

Dermis is the layer which is located immediately below the epidermis. It

contains connective tissue, blood vessels etc.

The dermal papillae which is a part of the dermis houses collagen tissues

which helps to strengthen and detect pressure in the dermis .
