Yes, It is a linear function..

[tex]y = x[/tex]

[tex]0 = x[/tex]

[tex](x,y) = (0,0)[/tex]

[tex]y = 0[/tex]

[tex](x,y) = (0,0)[/tex]

when we graph this we get a slant line without any curves. Therefore, It is a linear function...
