ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer) was one of the earliest computers ever made. ENIAC was primarily designed as a way to calculate artillery firing tables for the United States Army's Ballistic Research Laboratory. The computer started working on December 10, 1945. ENIAC was able to calculate a trajectory in 30 seconds, when it took a human 20 hours.
