If you look at the image given, there is a line which have the points, K and J. Angles A and B share that line and share the same vertex point which is J. Just by looking at it, you should be able to understand that they add up to 180 degrees since they are both right angles or 90 degree angles (90+90=180). When two angles have all these, they are Adjacent angles.
