a hawk is much bigger than a hen. Hawks have bigger and sharper beaks then hens. Hawks have huge claws and hens have small ones. hens mostly stay on the ground, so its have to catch birds, only insects. While hawks stay mostly in the air, where in has a greater chance to get birds.
