Answer:

Let the marked price =Rs100

After a discount of 20%, the price = 100−20% of100 = 100−10020×100 = 100−20=80

After a further discount of 5%, price = 80−5% of80 = 80−1005×80 = 80−4 = Rs76

Final Selling = Rs76

Total Discount = 100−76=Rs24

Thus, discount % = 10024×100 = 24%
